October 2006, and the night after the ARIA Awards and Interactive Productions was there for Australian Idol Monday Elimination. After trying to work out Sydney's extensive bus system it was decided a Cab was the best option to get to Global TV in Pyrmont for a night of Australian Idol.

After making our way to the VIP table and getting registered, it was up to the Green Room before the show to mingle with the other media covering the show and enjoy some nibbles and drinks. Then 7:30pm came and it was Live Idol and who would go??

A special performance by the former Idols the Young Divas with their new hit Happening All Over again got the crowd rocking and the atmosphere was electric in the studio. A special suprise presentation from Michael Gudinski to Marcia Hines added to the live crowds enthusiasm.

Then it was time to find out who would go, and after all was said and done, Ricky Muscat's time on Idol was over, some very sad faces in the crowd. After all was said and done it was all over and we had to pile out of the studio and make our way back to the city. Huge thanks to Paula and the girls at Network 10.
